Decorum applies, but...

http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/Weiner_healthcare/2009/08/18/249186.html

This story is about the views of Rep. Anthony Weiner, the New York
Democratic, who wants to have the heatlh care industry completely
taken over by the federal government.  He has a plan for it too.

But I hestitated to put this on the main space due to simple decorum.
This story called for a cuss-word.  Litteraly.

I mean, when you got a guy named "Weiner", as in "hot dog" or
"frankfurter"...or a certain private part of the male anatomy, and he
wants to "dick-around" (the cuss word I wanted to use) with health
care and thereby "screw" (the other cuss word) every American
citizen...

Golly gee, this really screams for an insulting headline!

"Democrat Weiner Wants to Insert Himself in Our Private Lives"   ....just off the top of my head

Brian Macdonald, Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 9:41 PM:

Just in case, I sent the following to the editor of the New York Daily News...which is part of Weiner's district:   To the editor,

On MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program today, your representative Congressman Anthony Weiner presented a simple plan for American health care: a complete takeover by the Federal government.  “The problem that we have here,” Weiner said on the show, “is we’re trying to jury rig the system so that insurance companies continue to make health profits. Why? What does an insurance company – they don’t do a single check-up, they don’t do a single exam, they don’t perform an operation. Medicare has a 4 percent overhead rate. Insurance companies take about $230 billion out of the system every year in profits and overhead. The real question is, ‘Why do we have a private plan?’”  Then he goes on to answer his own question: “What are they [the private health-insurance sector] providing? This is not providing, essentially, a government service.”

We in this country have Medicare, Medicaid, and the hospitals of the Veterans Administration as examples of the poor quality of government-run healthcare; this is further compounded by several state-run examples, such as the poorly-run and managed Tenn-Care in my state of Tennessee.  And this Congressman Weiner insists on making it worse.

The guy is so aptly-named.

Mark Levin had looked into the industry profits, Insurance ranked at
the bottom with  3% margins. To add insult, the government has
hammered insurance into one of the most over-regulated sectors of the
economy.
