Socialist Healthcare Files

I have come across this tremendous resource (below) and need
suggestions on how to incorporate within CP.

I think the layout is already made out for you below:
**
*1) Reduces patient incentives to find the best possible prices for the best
possible services/products available.*
Change to: "Loss of personal incentive to find better service or products"
*2) Reduces physician incentives to provide competitive care and reduces
drug companies' incentives to provide new drugs and treatments.*
Change to "Lack of competion in health care"
Add this subtopic: "Loss of incentives to create new drugs/treatments"
*3) Steals from your wallet to pay for my health care.*
Change to "Loss of personal income to the government"
*4) The quality of "free" health care will deteriorate and the average
citizen will get sicker.*
Change to "Loss of health care quality"
*5) Destroys your privacy.*
Change to "Loss of privacy"
*6) Destroys your liberty.*
Change to "Loss of liberty"

Then describe in detail each topic with the sources which are provided on
that site.

I added the relevent subtopics to a page that already existed, so it's a
start.

Thanks Brian,.

Anybody happen to know anything about wikipedia's George W. Bush page,
a little thing called "Representation in the International Phonetic
Alphabet (IPA)?" right next to George's name, first sentence. It looks
like Egyptian lettering and they offer audio version? Is this some
sort of liberal politically correct offering? who is it targeted to? I
never seen or hear of it until now.

Its so the article can be used by international people who may be unable to use our phonics.

Jessica <kotomi.tan...@gmail.com>, Thu, 12 Mar 2009 02:56:56 -0700 (PDT):

It is the phonetic pronunciation of his name, according to the
standard phonetic alphabet. Which is all well and fine, assuming you
know what each symbol means. I think apart from a couple of advanced
language scholars (I did honours in English and we only touched on
it), they might as well have stuck hieroglyphics there, for all the
use it is to the common user. More WP overkill, I suppose.

Ed Poor <uncle_ed_p...@yahoo.com>, Thu, 12 Mar 2009 12:20:38 -0700 (PDT):

Wikipedia has taken internationalization to such an extreme that it
borders on anti-Americanism.

So you have the money and smarts to buy a computer, the money and
smarts to connect to the WWW. You have the smarts enough to search for
George W. Bush and land at Wikipedia. "I don't know how to pronounce
George W. Bush- I'll use the phonetic assistant?" Border-line insane
if you ask me and it looks stupid.
